Hive Digital Technologies has announced the successful completion of its large-scale Bitcoin mining data center located in Paraguay. This significant facility boasts a capacity of 100 megawatts (MW), marking a major milestone for the company in expanding its digital asset mining infrastructure.
The newly completed data center is designed to host high-performance computing equipment specifically for Bitcoin mining and supporting other digital asset operations. Strategically located in Paraguay, the facility benefits from access to abundant and cost-effective renewable energy, primarily sourced from the country’s hydroelectric power generation. With the construction complete, the 100MW data center is now fully operational, integrating Hive’s mining hardware and commencing digital asset production.
