The organization discovered unauthorized activity impacting certain systems at the end of August. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized party gained access to systems between late July and late August. Information that may have been accessed includes names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and potentially sensitive healthcare data such as insurance details, medical record numbers, and clinical information.
McLaren Health Care has begun notifying affected individuals and is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services.
