What Exactly is an AWS Hero?
Before we introduce the new members, it’s important to understand the significance of this title. An AWS Hero is an individual recognized by Amazon Web Services for their remarkable enthusiasm and expertise. They are not AWS employees, but rather passionate community leaders from around the globe.
AWS Heroes are known for:
- Sharing Knowledge: They actively share what they know through blog posts, detailed tutorials, conference talks, and open-source projects.
- Building Communities: They often lead or play a pivotal role in AWS User Groups, host local meetups, and foster online forums where developers can connect and learn.
- Providing Feedback: Their hands-on experience provides invaluable feedback to the AWS product teams, helping to shape the future of the platform.
- Inspiring Others: Through their dedication, they inspire countless others to deepen their cloud skills and get more involved in the tech community.
In short, they are force multipliers for good within the AWS world.
